Now just think about what is going to happen to health care it becomes another typical government organization.

Unfortunately, with Bush pushing for nongovernmental groups to do more and more that government used to do, this is a result. Very little oversight, supervision by government. ACORN has done much good, but also has had well-publicized problems. ACORN has expanded beyond its ability to control the quality and training of its staff. The videotaping came across many staffers giving good advice, but that hasn't been spread across the internet, like the really outrageous ones. There have been many "Christian" organizations that have been found guilty of fraud and malfeasance, in very serious cases involving children and families. And some of these "Christian" organizations refuse to neutrally aid individuals and give them their full range of options.

It is deplorable, but some how not surprising. I am glad that the Census Bureau and Congress are severing ties with ACORN. Now only if rest of the government will do the same it will be a step in the right direction.
